Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we'll take a look here at our Coghlan's rubber mallet with a peg puller at the end here at etrailer. So when you're out camping and you have your tent, or if you're car camping, and you have an awning on your vehicle, more often than not, you're going to have to put down or stake down some stakes or pegs just to secure your tent or your awning. Now I've done a lot of that here at etrailer, and what's been very, very helpful is a rubber mallet. And what's also been helpful is a peg puller. So it's nice to see how they did a little bit of a two and one thing right over here. more

This is gonna be a very important tool to have on hand if you're gonna be in dense vegetation where you're gonna have to cut your way through, or if you're needing to make kindling and that sort of thing, is gonna be a very important tool to have on hand. This does have an 18 inch long spring steel blade. So it is gonna be very durable and will do a good job of cutting through most kinds of vegetation, small branches, that sort of thing. You also have a plastic handle here that's going to provide a nice grip. more

Review of Coghlans Camping Tools - Saws - CG29VR- Video
Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Coghlan's Sierra Saw with a seven inch blade. Now, this Sierra Saw is an excellent cutting tool to use while camping, fishing, hunting, and gardening. The blade itself is a nice high carbon tool steel, and the blade is thinner at the top and thicker at the teeth to ensure clog free sawing and a nice smooth finish cut. It is a serrated blade, you can see here, never needs to be sharpened, and it's a tempered flexible steel blade that'll cut smooth every time. Basically, when you saw with this, the blade will cut on the pull stroke, you do not wanna force it on the push stroke. more

These straps are going to be about 47 and a quarter of an inch in total length, so it's just under four feet. They are one inch wide.So if you're needing a strap for any project really, these are very useful for many different applications, whether your sleeping bag is not staying closed anymore, or you need to wrap up your tent or other camp supplies, or in an emergency situation, this could easily be used as a tourniquet to stop bleeding in your arm or leg or something like that.So totally up to you, but they do have the sturdy plastic buckles that you'll loop your nylon webbing strap through, and then that will allow it to hold in place, give you a nice solid grip there, so it's not going to go anywhere. It's going to keep the tension on that.So if you're in the market for some straps like this, I think these are going to be a great option for you. They are, like I said, just under four feet long. more

I'm going to turn off the lights here in my studio, and you can see that fluorescent green kind of glow to it on the bottom side, where my studio lights have not charged it up. It does have a loop at the back so you can just easily run your belt through that and keep it at hand's reach anytime you need that little mini shovel. It does kind of catch on the sides of that, but inaudible 00:00:23 easy to take that out and fold it out to make use of that little shovel. It's pretty compact and lightweight. It is made of a stainless steel construction so it shouldn't have any issues with rust or corrosion, so it should last for a long time. Really nice and sturdy. more

This is designed to replace several different items in your emergency kit pack or your backpack as you're traveling and hiking around the world. It has a couple of loops here so you can easily tie that off to your pack, have it running through your belt loop maybe, and be readily available for any kind of emergency or outdoorsman use.Now, if I'm really honest about this tool, do I think it's going to save your life in an emergency Maybe, but as far as everyday use, it's probably not going to be something that you would utilize all the time. It looks pretty nice, but the multifunctions, we'll run through those real quick. We've got our saw edge, our hatchet edge, a nail puller, which is this little cutout here, then a couple of tools back here, a wrench, we'll have two different sizes there, a bottle opener, and a hammer. Today we're taking a look at the Camco 6 Function Survival Whistle.The survival whistle features six tools to help you out in an emergency situation. This is great to have on hand, or in your pack, when you're camping or hiking. The compact tool doesn't take up much space at all. As you can see it fits into the palm of my hand. Has a nice lanyard to it so you can tie it off or wear it around your neck. It's just very easy to use. more

Today, we're going to take a look at the Performance Tool Magnesium Fire Starter. This is a waterproof magnesium fire starter. If you notice on one edge here, the black, it has a full length flint for making hot sparks. The serrated blade edge that it comes with makes magnesium shavings. This is a 3-inch block of magnesium. You just shave that block with this included serrated edge blade here to make about an 1/8 inch deep pile of shavings, about the size of a quarter. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at part number CAM51354. This is the Camco pocket saw. It's got the nice little circular holds here, stick your finger through there and then you can run this back and forth against multiple kinds of surfaces to cut through. It's durable enough to where it's going to cut through wood, bone, plastic and soft metals as well as some other materials. The wire is really flexible so it's going to roll up nicely to fit in your pocket or a small storage compartment in your backpack or you can keep it handy in your vehicle or in your hunting pouch as well. The wire length is going to be 20 3/4 of an inch. I want to bring you in for a close up here just so you can see the construction of the wire.
